Home-Schooled Kids’

Pottery Classes

for kids ages 7 to 14

Classes can be tailored to complement your lessons.   Learning to make pottery goes well with a number of subjects -- math, history, biology, chemistry, drama, and more.  Kids will learn basic pottery skills, about shapes, textures and colors, and how to evaluate their work using their "artistic eye."  Focus will be on hand building.

Suggested class schedule is 1x/week for 3-5 weeks, for 1-1½-2 hour sessions each week.

Cost is $20/hour/child and includes all supplies and firings.

Mixed-age classes are okay, although best with similar ages.  It may be possible to combine several similar-aged kids from different home schools. 

Fall Semester 2010 --  October, November and to December 10th

Spring Semester 2011 -- February, March and April

Classes offered Mon, Tue & Weds, between 8:30AM and 4PM
